You can check progress in the top toolbar, and used storage in the bottom bar.
First-time sync can take a while, so be patient. Once every category is ready, click the Sync button towards the bottom of iTunes.Under Music, for example, you’ll probably want to toggle Sync Music, but switch from Entire music library to Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres unless you don’t have many tracks.
